ABOUT CHRIS ORWIG

I’m a photographer, author, teacher and speaker based in Montecito, CA and I’ve had the opportunity to work with some amazing brands like Patagonia, Google, Facebook, Sony, SpaceX and many more! I’ve photographed a handful of my heroes like the singer/songwriter Jack Johnson and world champion surfer Kelly Slater. My work has been published in major magazines, yet for me, there’s nothing more important than family—that’s us pictured on the right! I’m married to my high school sweetheart and we have three spirited, strong and beautiful daughters plus our two golden retrievers Daisy and Hana Lei Sunshine, Mr. Pickles the chameleon and a bunch of chickens.

As a father of three, I know life can be complicated and move incredibly fast. These little kids grow up in the blink of an eye. That’s why I enjoy photographing families so much.
